About the role
Are you a dedicated team player who has the ability to work under pressure? We are on the hunt for an Production Manager/ Sales Assistant to assist in the sales process & plan, maintain and monitor order timelines from order placement to delivery. Working closely with the managing/sales director, artwork department and local/international suppliers, this role requires a high level of communication, multitasking, decision-making and problem-solving abilities. We are looking for a motivated individual who will appreciate working as part of a small but dedicated close team in a convenient Sydney location.

Key responsibilities & duties

- Assist sales department with quoting process - sourcing products, quoting with suppliers and reselling to clients  
- Work with sales team to plan and coordinate order timelines
- Plan, maintain and monitor production schedule on a daily basis
- Liaise with suppliers regarding production target dates/deadlines
- Coordinate with artwork team to achieve sign off and client approvals in required time frame
- Create & place orders with suppliers via XERO
- Client invoicing via XERO
- Generate financial reports through Xero for weekly team progress updates
- Develop quick resolutions to production related issues to ensure product quality is maintained and delivery time frames are met
- Oversee quality control of goods received prior to order dispatch
- Manage order dispatch process and communicate with freight/courier companies to ensure on time deliveries

Skills and experience

- Proven experience in a similar production manager/coordinator role (2 years minimum preferred)
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organisational and leaderships skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
- Experience in Xero preferred (but not mandatory)
- Demonstrated computer literacy in MS Office & Google Suite products
- Experience using graphics software would be helpful
