About the Role

Responsible to the Client Services Director, the Account Manager will work across a portfolio of clients to achieve the portfolio and individual client budgets and objectives. 

The Account Manager will assist directly in key areas such as (but not limited to); client service, managing existing clients, responding to client briefs, organic client growth, new business development and opportunities, strategic client development, and developing creative and innovative solutions with lateral thinking and an integrated approach towards a holistic below-the-line marketing offer. 

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients to meet their briefs, achieve objectives and business targets as agreed.
  • Develop & execute end-to-end campaigns: 
  • Respond to client briefs on time, within budget and to specification 
  • Manage all jobs from brief stage, through to production &/or execution & delivery
  • Maintain and develop strong working client relationships – with frequent client contact and meetings 
  • New Business Development
  • Achieve budgets and targets in relation to specific areas
  • Strategic account panning  

Essential Criteria

  • Ideally 5+ years experience in marketing/sales or related discipline.
  • Ability to demonstrate 2+ years’ history as an Account Executive/Manager 
  • Marketing / Agency experience preferable  
  • Strong marketing/sales background in marketing/sales specific roles preferred 
  • Tertiary qualifications that contribute to relevant knowledge and can be applied in a practical way to meeting the objectives required
  • Creativity – must be a creative thinker to help generate and build on client opportunities.

Desirable

  • Professional experience that contributes to relevant requirements and can be applied in a practical way to meeting the objectives required is highly desirable  
  • Strong marketing/sales background in marketing/sales specific roles preferred
