Customer Care Officer

Be the reason our customers sleep at night. When a distributor sends us an order, they’re putting their reputation on the line with their end client. From the moment that PO hits our inbox, someone needs to watch it like a hawk — making sure it moves through artwork, production, decoration, freight, and delivery without a hitch. And the second something looks off, that someone needs to be on the phone to the customer before they even know there’s a problem. That someone is you.

What this role is really about

You’re the extension of our distributors’ teams inside Promo Brands. Not a salesperson. Not an order-taker. An advocate — the person who treats every order like it’s your own business on the line. Because to them, it is.

This is a fast-paced, face-paced role — you’ll be up out of your seat, working across every corner of the office. Finance for credit and invoicing. Sales for account context. Production for build status. Despatch for freight bookings. Marketing for samples and collateral. If you like sitting still and processing one task at a time, this isn’t the role. On a typical day you’ll:

  • Shepherd live orders through our network — know where every job is, what’s next, and what’s at risk
  • Get on the front foot when something wobbles. Supplier delay, artwork issue, freight hiccup? Your customer hears it from you, with options, before they hear it from their end client
  • Walk the floor — pull production aside, chase finance, brief despatch, loop in sales. Email is a tool, not a hiding place
  • Keep customers genuinely informed with signal, not noise — the right update at the right moment
