About the role

Exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced professional to join Blue Ink Group as a Business Development Manager for our Print and Promotional Products division.

This is a full-time role based in our Canberra office. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining profitable relationships with new and existing clients, driving sales growth and business expansion.

What you'll be doing

• Identifying and prospecting new business opportunities within the local market
• Building and managing a pipeline of qualified leads and converting them into sales
• Maintaining and nurturing relationships with key clients to drive repeat business and cross-sell opportunities 
• Preparing and presenting sales proposals and pitches to secure new business 
• Collaborating with the promotions team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of client orders
• Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
• Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets

What we're looking for

• Proven track record in a business development or sales role, preferably within the print and promotional products industry
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage with clients at all levels
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different audiences
• Highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to work independently to achieve goals 
• Proficient in using CRM systems to manage sales activities and pipeline
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills, and experience using Adobe Creative Cloud software, such as Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat.
